FOXCROFT SCHOOL

Gruver Cooley has worked with Foxcroft School, an all-girls school established in 1914, to help gradually update the living facilities on campus.  All of the dorm bathrooms have been modernized and feature new tile, plumbing fixtures and lighting.  The fixtures and materials specified for this project kept in mind the high-use of each space, as it is a boarding school during the school year, and camps occupy most of the campus in the summer.

The dorm common spaces feature new carpeting, paint and custom cabinetry.  The faculty units in each of the four dorms were also addressed and completely modified to feature more up-to-date fixtures and finishes.  The same fixtures and finishes were used in each space, to help keep a level of continuity throughout the campus, and to also help to facilitate maintenance and repairs. .

Two new faculty homes were built in 2017 to help accomplish the school's objective to keep a majority of the faculty living on-campus.
